We’ve published our Code of Ethics today.
This is a new document for Gridworks and will guide what we stand for as a business and how we demonstrate high standards of integrity and ethical behaviour. Gridworks has a challenging, long-term mandate and the Code provides clarity on how we are expected to behave to build the trust and respect of everyone who comes into contact with our company, whether employees, stakeholders or the businesses and communities in Africa that benefit from our investment.
Welcoming the publication of the Code of Ethics, Simon Hodson, Chief Executive of Gridworks said:
“As one of the few organisations committed to developing and investing in power transmission and distribution infrastructure in Africa, we have an opportunity to lead by example. The delivery of affordable, reliable power to those who need it across Africa is possible, and our values and this Code will remain central to the execution of that business. All Gridworks staff receive and sign up to the Code of Ethics and we expect them to always act in accordance with the spirit of the code and to understand the principles behind it.”
